Chapter 7 Downloading GIS Data

So far we have used data only from the tutorials folder, which I have nicely manicured so that you can focus on learning specific skills. In the real world, you will want to make a map of your own sample site with your own data. In a later module we will learn how to import your data into QGIS, but you will still need “basemap” data to give spatial context to your data.
